Many customers use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) like SalesForce.com to keep and update customer contact information. Use the Import function to add or update contacts in the BombBomb system when they change in the CRM.
From the List tab,
Select the Add Contacts button on the list you want to add and/or update contacts
The new or changed contacts from the CRM will need to be saved in a .CSV file. Browse for the file then select the Import button.
Match the columns from the .CSV file to the fields in your list.
Select Next.
The system will load only contacts or contact information that has changed from the .CSV file. For example, if 10 new contacts were added into the CRM since the last update, then only those 10 will be updated into the BombBomb list. Also, if the address or phone number of a contact changed in the CRM, then the new values will be updated in BombBomb.
The Import function is a handy way to keep your email lists up to date and in sync with your other contact systems.
For assistance with CSV files see How to prepare your CSV files for import into BombBomb and How to load a list of email addresses (video).
If you need to change the email address of a contact then find that contact record and modify the email address. Bulk update of email addresses is not a function currently available.
