BombBomb is in the planning stages for a drip campaign feature. For those unfamiliar with that term a drip campaign generally is a series of email messages that send according to a time schedule or other criteria. See Drip Marketing at Wikipedia for a more thorough description.
WE WANT YOUR INPUT!

Can you make so that drip campaigns can be repeated when finished and/or can be connected to another drip campaign
In the real estate business, there are plenty of ideas that would be good for sending a series of video emails to potential clients.
1)Thanks for applying, 2) here's what happens next,3) This is what I will need, 4) during the loan process don't do this, 5) we should be receiving your appraisal soon, 6) What to bring to closing
some thoughts for now. will post more as I think about it.
BB DRIP IDEAS
1. A must have is a happy birthday and anniversary date email. Including a new happy b-day and happy anniversary email template would be excellent.
- One birth date field and 2 anniversary fields (2 anniversaries per contact). That way no matter what the industry we can pick the content of the anniversary and fine tune the message to match. For example; in my biz I will say happy anniversary of your new home purchase and simply enter the date of that anniversary date and the email will go out on that date a when it comes due. Another person it could be their wedding anniversary or anniversary of becoming a customer.
2. Currently a contact can be added to a list and an auto email send out. Be sure to maintain this functionality for campaigns too. For instance we add someone to a campaign and a list, an auto email goes out and then all the subsequent emails for that campaign. Auto pilot!
3. Campaigns should have options as follows or the ability to set it up quickly and easily in some way
- 1x, 2x, 3x, or 4x per month emails
- Campaigns for a quarter year, 6 months or 12 months (assign a campaign for the year and done!
- The scheduling should be easy. Use the above format (1x per week for 12 months) or (1x per week for 6 months). Or You could make it more detailed and have email 1 go out immediately, email 2, 1 week after email 1 and email 3, 2 weeks after and so forth with us having the ability to change those time increments. You could just do send at 1 week, send at 2 weeks, and so forth and have the basis be the date of subscription.
4. Holiday greetings
4. Definitely the ability to have multiple campaigns for each contact. For instance; if I assign a contact to the birthday, Christmas, anniversary, and 1x per month for 12 months campaigns it should send emails out for all of the above.
5. Be sure to have the campaigns be as auto-pilot as possible. For instance if I include a birthdate then the happy birthday email WILL GO OUT. But for the larger campaigns have the option to auto assign the campaign when a contact is added to a list as well as a button that says “Commence Campaign” since it is a much more frequent email. When the user sets up their campaigns they can indicate if they want auto Commence on or off when a contact is added.
6. Thinking (typing) outloud. Not sure but you may want to have web forms auto assign list and campaign. The easy on you way to do this is just have us make lists for each campaign maybe. It would be good however for us to be able to have the option to assign any campaign for any list. So I would want to add a contact to my past customer list PLUS my 1 email per month for 12 months campaign. On the other hand when I meet a new person off the street that is not a past customer I will add them to a drip that just keeps in touch. That campaign may or may not be a little different. I am not sure but maybe you can simply drive the campaigns by list. That seems simple and I think it would simplify things. So the user could make a Fresh Prospects List that would therefor assign all those contacts to a campaign that is good for that type of contact.
7. Make sure that the web forms generate an url or html code that will allow us to paste to other places such as webinars and websites. This is critical so that BB becomes our sole cust contact system and that we do not need to reply on anything else. For instance; other systems such as webinar generators allow users to use our own auto-responder as long as it is html code not javascript. I suppose the forms currently offer this but just wanted to be sure I mentioned it.
