BombBomb can be configured to pull your CCB groups and saved searches into BombBomb and treat them as email lists.  This makes it convenient to send to the same groups you already use within CCB like "Mens group" or "Pastors lists".

To configure BombBomb to integrate with your CCB account, you will need to have your CCB API login and password. This is different than your main CCB user login and password. You will also need to configure the API access within CCB.

Here are the steps:

To retrieve your CCB API login name and password, From the CCB main page, select Settings, then API.

Be sure to take note of your API key URL, as you will need it later. Click "Add a new API user" to continue.

Create a name and password, then click "Services".

Note: Use only characters and numbers for your password, i.e., ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ and/or abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz and 1234567890). CCB requires at least one number be used in the API password. Do not use special characters, i.e., !@#$%^&*, etc.

Next, check the following boxes:

• execute_search
• group_participants
• group_profiles
• group_profiles_from_id
• individual profiles
• individual_profiles_from_id
• search_list

Don't forget to select Save.  

Once CCB is configured, log in to BombBomb, go to the "My Profile" screen then select the Integrations link.

Select the little circle to the left of CCB to select CCB as your integration partner.

Enter the API user name, password and your API URL then select the "Save my CCB Integration".

Select the Lists tab, then select the "sync lists from CCB" link found at about middle screen on the Lists page.

You should now see your CCB groups and saved searches appearing on the Lists tab with "CCB" on the icon.

You are done!

NOTE - CCB lists will not show any contacts in them until after you send to the list (group and/or save search).
