One of the great features of BombBomb is our email composer header. This header includes five different items you can customize, including "save as," "subject," "preheader," "from name," and "from email."
Watch this video, or keep reading below to learn more.
When you open a new or existing email in the Emails tab, you will see your header options under "Details." Here is what each of these fields means:
Save As: This is where you put what you want the email to be saved as, as it will appear in your email tab. Only you will see what the email is saved as.
From Name: If you are sending from a different email address, you can change who the email will be shown as being sent from. If not, this will auto-populate with your name from your profile, so you don't need to make any changes.
Subject Line: Like any email, the subject line is what will appear when the recipient sees your message in their inbox.
Preheader: The preheader follows the subject line and appears in the inbox preview for the email. This is a great place to add text that will entice your recipients to open your email.
From Email: This tells you from whom the email is being sent. If you have more than one email verified with BombBomb, you can change this to a different email address. You'll need to click "add another email" under the "From email" field in order to verify the email. You will receive a verification email in this email's inbox. Once that email is verified, you can select the address from the "From email" dropdown list.
