Part of the reason why video carries so much value comes from its ability to be shared across multiple platforms. Why share a social media post or web page with only text if people can see your face instead? Video is the future of media, my friends, and since you're here...you're obviously heading in the right direction.
Your BombBomb videos can be shared, embedded, or downloaded so they can be displayed wherever you'd like. Since we stream our videos, you can paste the designated link to other platforms or social media, paste the embed code into HTML fields, or download the video directly to your computer. There's no limit to where you can share your content.
Watch the video above to learn where to go in your account to start sharing your video with others!
If you prefer to read, here's a step by step:
To start sharing your videos, first head to the Videos tab.
Click the drop-down arrow next to the video you'd like to share. You'll see that you can do a lot of these from this dropdown. If you want to share the video via social media, you can select the "Link & Share" option.
You'll see a popup appear with the video URL. You can paste this URL into any social media platform to share it with your followers. If you'd like to share directly to one of the social media platforms shown in the icons below the URL, you can also click one of these icons and a post will be automatically created with the video URL. One thing to remember is that if a video (or email) is shared on social media, you will not be able to track who plays the video or views the email.
Another option would be to embed your video. To do this, click on the drop-down arrow next to the video you'd like to share and select the "Embed" option.
You will then be taken to the embed page. The same video URL is listed at the top of the page for convenience. You will also see the embed code in the middle of the page. If you're hosting your own website, you can copy this embed code and paste it into the HTML or any other applicable field and embed the video into your page.
Next to the embed code, you'll also see an area where you can actually change the size of your video. If you find that your video is too big or small, you can change the size of the pixels here and click the "Resize" button to resize your video. (The maximum size permitted is 640 pixels.)
Underneath the embed code, you have the option to play back the video. This is just a live preview so you can see what everyone else will see.
If you'd like to download your video to your computer, there is a link at the bottom of this page where you can do so.
To download the video, right-click on the "Download Video" link and click the "Save Link As" option.
You'll get a popup where you have the option of choosing where to save your video. Once you name your file and choose where to save it, you can click the "Save" button and you will then have the video downloaded to your computer.

Hi I am trying this on a MAC and when I right click it just plays the video in my browser vs downloading it... please advise. Karin

Hi Karin!
If you are using a Mac Track pad, the right click function sometimes gets confused with the left click option. If you click on the "Control" key on your keyboard, and then the "Left Click" on your mouse or track pad, that should bring up the "Right Click" menu.
If you still have issues doing this, please email us at support@bombbomb.com so we can help you out.
Thanks!
