All browsers are built differently, which means websites will behave differently based on the browser you are using. Some browsers run and support certain plugins, while others do not, or, you have to manually add them.
With BombBomb, we require the use of Adobe Flash Player to run the recorder in our web application for browsers other than Chrome, and Safari does not always run that plugin automatically. Below are steps to help troubleshoot Safari if you are having a hard time getting your recorder to come up:
1. You will want to make sure you have activated Flash in the Safari settings:
If you do not have Flash installed, go to step 2.
2. If step 1 does not work, then you will want to download the Adobe Flash Player from Adobe's website:
After doing, go back to step 1 and make sure Flash is turned on for BombBomb.
3. If you are still having issues after doing the first two steps, you will want to clear your cache in the Safari browser. The link below will take you to an external article that will show you how to do that:
If you end up installing the Adobe Flash Player plugin, it is a good idea for you to restart your computer.
If your Safari browser is still not pulling up the BombBomb recorder, please give our support team a call so we can get this resolved for you?
