Ah, finally. It's time to talk about our favorite subject here at BombBomb...videos!
Recording or uploading videos to your video library is the easiest and most common way to catalog your videos so they're readily accessible to you on any platform. By recording or uploading videos in your Videos tab, your videos will populate your library on any device and can be embedded, shared, texted, or even sent through Gmail with the BombBomb PowerWheel. Could it get any easier? Yeah, we didn't think so.
Check out the video above to learn how to add and save videos to send now or later!
*Note: Your video files for upload can be up to 2 GB in size. BombBomb accepts seven different video formats:
If you prefer to read, here's a step by step:
To begin recording or uploading a video, log into your account and click on the Videos tab.
Click on the "New Video" button at the top of your screen.
This page allows you to title your new video. You also have two choices when it comes to adding a new video to your video library: you can click the "Record a Video" button on the right to record a brand new video from scratch, or you can click the "Pick Your Video" button on the left to upload an existing video on your computer. When you record a video from scratch, you will be taken straight to the classic BombBomb video recorder where you can record a brand new video.
When you click the "Pick Your Video" option, you'll be able to select a video file from your computer to upload to your BombBomb account. Select the video file and then click "Open."
The video will be uploaded into your BombBomb account, and then it will begin encoding on the video settings page. The encoding process makes copies of your video so that it can be available in various different formats (desktop, mobile, text, etc.).
Once the video has encoded, you can change the video title, add tags, and even add a video description to help you recollect what you talked about in your video. You'll see in the bottom right that BombBomb creates an animated .gif that will show when people open your emails, which has been shown to rapidly increase open rates. If you'd like to upload a static image to show instead of an animated .gif, you can click the "Upload New Thumbnail" button and upload an image. You can even playback your own video by clicking on it and then clicking the "Thumb" button to snap a screenshot to use for your thumbnail.
When you're finished editing your video settings, click the "Save" button in the upper right of your screen and your new video, along with the details you've specified for it in the video settings, will be saved to your video library.
You can edit your video settings at any time. When you are in the Videos tab, click the "Edit" button next to the desired video and you will be taken to the video settings page for that video.
