BombBomb's video tracking gives you an in-depth look at how people are interacting with your videos. You can find your video tracking both on your dashboard and in your Videos tab.
Watch this video or keep reading below for step-by-step instructions on how to find and read your video tracking.
You can see a brief overview of your tracking in your Videos tab under each video.
To see more in-depth tracking, click on the "Track" icon to the right of the video.
On the top right of your video tracking screen, you'll see:
- When your video was last played
- How many times it was played
- The average percent of the video watched
- How many likes it received
- How many comments it received
Below your video, you'll see a bar showing your video engagement. If you hover over the bar, it will tell you what percentage of people watched to a specific time. The darker the shade, the more people watched the video to that timeframe.
Most Engaged Viewers
Next you'll see a list of those viewing your video, the percent each watched, and when they watched it. You will also see if they liked or commented. (Learn more about when these are available here.) If you sent your video through a BombBomb email, the person's email will be listed. In cases where BombBomb can't determine the identity of the viewer (such as video emails sent through another email provider or a texted url link) it will show that "Someone" played your video.
Video tracking on your dashboard
You can also view your video tracking in the right panel of your BombBomb Dashboard. You can scroll, search, or use the filter on the upper right of the panel to find the message you're looking for. This tracking will show email opens, sends, and link clicks. It will also show video likes, comments and views, including the most recent watch and the longest watch. If you'd like to see the tracking page for a particular video, click "View More Video Stats" below that video.
