Take a look at the video above to see how to record and send a video using the BombBomb iPhone mobile app!
If you'd prefer to read, here's a step by step:
Open up the BombBomb mobile app. To record a video, tap the big red record button at the bottom middle of your screen.
When you get to the recording screen, you'll see you have some options. In the upper right, you can choose to start a timer that will give you a three-second countdown before your phone begins to record. At the bottom left, you can flip to the front-facing camera (this also works while you are filming and will record the camera flipping back and forth). To begin recording, hit the red record button again to start.
Once you begin recording, you will see in the upper right corner that your video begins to record. If you'd like, in the bottom right of your screen, you can pause your video and pick back up at a different time. To stop recording, hit the big red record button again in the middle of your screen.
Once you've finished recording, there are a few things you can do. In the upper right, you can tap the "Thumbnail" option to take a thumbnail photo for your video (if you prefer to not have the automatic three-second animated preview.) At the bottom left, you can re-record your video. In the middle of your screen, you can hit the play button to play back your video. When you are satisfied with your video, at the bottom right, hit the "Next" option.
Now your video will begin uploading and encoding. This process needs to happen for both text and social so that your video can be viewed on multiple platforms at the same time without any sort of interruption. Tap the "Email" option to send your video through email.
On the email composer, you can type in your recipient's name. If you'd like to add a list, you can do that by hitting the "+" option next to the recipients line. Add a subject line and body text. If you'd like to preview your email before you send it, hit the "Quick View" option beneath the body text box. At the bottom, you have options to turn tracking on for your email, schedule your email, set a reminder for your email, or change your quick send template. Once you're satisfied, hit the "Send" button in the upper right corner to send your email.
