We've got great news for iOS users interested in BombBomb: you can now sign up for a BombBomb account through iTunes!
Check out the list of FAQs below to understand some of the differences between signing up through the desktop application versus directly through the mobile app.
Step 1: Download the BombBomb App
- Download the App: Install the BombBomb app on your Apple/iOS device.
- Create an Account: Open the app and follow the sign-up prompts on the login screen to create an account and purchase a subscription.
Note: Your BombBomb subscription will automatically renew at the end of your subscription term.
Will My iTunes Purchase Display in My BombBomb Account?
- Purchase Management: Your iTunes purchase of BombBomb will not appear in your BombBomb account. Subscription management will be handled by Apple, as indicated in the billing section of your BombBomb account.
How to Update Your iTunes Billing Information
On Your Apple/iOS Device:
- Open Settings.
- Select iTunes & App Store.
- Tap Your Apple ID.
- Choose View Apple ID (sign in if prompted).
- Select Payment Information.
- Enter New Billing Information.
- Tap Done.
On Your Desktop Computer:
- Open iTunes.
- Sign In with your Apple ID.
- Select Your Name and choose Account Info from the drop-down menu (sign in again if prompted).
- Next to Payment Type, select Edit.
- Enter New Billing Information.
- Tap Done.
Important: After updating, iTunes will place a temporary authorization hold on your credit card to verify your information. For more details on updating Apple Pay or canceling your account, refer to the article on Apple’s website.
How to Change Your BombBomb Subscription
- iTunes Management: If you purchased BombBomb through iTunes, any changes to your subscription must be made through iTunes. Refer to Apple’s website for instructions on editing your subscription.
Note:
- Upgrading your plan resets your billing date.
- Upgrading during your free trial will end the trial prematurely, and you'll be billed immediately for the new plan.
How to Switch Billing from iTunes to BombBomb
- Cancel Your iTunes Subscription: To pay directly through BombBomb, you must first cancel your subscription via iTunes.
- Restart Your Subscription: After cancellation, restart your subscription on the BombBomb website.
Important: According to Apple’s cancellation policy, your membership may renew if you do not turn off Automatic Renewal more than 24 hours before the renewal date.
Can I Redeem Promotional Codes for BombBomb if Billed Through iTunes?
- Promotional Codes: Promotional offers cannot be used on accounts billed through iTunes. To use a promotional code, first cancel your iTunes billing. After your current billing period ends, you can apply your promotional code with BombBomb.
