What is Total expert?

Total Expert is a co-marketing platform built for the real estate, mortgage, and title industries to help agents and lenders automate, deploy, and track their co-marketing activities. Total Expert believes that technology strengthens relationships and interactions, keeping the human element in the transaction — now they can, with BombBomb!

What will the Total Expert and BombBomb integration allow me to do?

With the BombBomb integration, lenders and agents using Total Expert can send personalized video messages from inside the platform, increasing the effectiveness of their communication. Members also receive live real-time alerts and push notifications from BombBomb to help notify them of the best leads and when to follow up based on how they engage with emails.

Connecting the integration through BombBomb Integrations

Step 1: Log in to your BombBomb account. Hover over your name in the upper right corner and click "Integrations."

Step 2: Locate, then click on the Total Expert icon. (You can find it by scrolling through the integration list, selecting "mortgage" from the drop-down box, or searching for it directly by name.) 

Step 3: Click the orange "Connect" button on the far right of your screen.

Step 4: Log in to your Total Expert account using your credentials. 

Step 5: Confirm that a connection has been established by returning to Integrations in your BombBomb account. If the connection was successful, you'll see "Connected" in green letters on the Total Expert tile. 

Syncing your Total Expert contacts in BombBomb

Step 1: From your BombBomb Dashboard, navigate to the Contacts tab at the top of your screen. 

Step 2: Find Total Expert under Integrations on the Contacts tab screen. Then, click the "Sync from Total Expert" button.

Step 3: From the pop-up window, select which lists you'd like to sync to BombBomb. 

Step 4: To confirm that your list or lists are synced correctly, check "My Lists" on the left panel under the Contacts tab of your BombBomb account. (Note: This process can take several minutes, especially if you are syncing a large number of contacts. If your lists don't show up, try refreshing the page.) 

Connecting the integration using your API Key in Total Expert

Step 1: Log in to your BombBomb account. Hover over your name in the upper right corner and click "Integrations."

Step 2: Click the gray "Copy" button under My API Key on the top right of the BombBomb integrations screen.

Step 3: Navigate to your Total Expert account. In the top navigation bar, click your account name, then select "Integration Settings." Next to the BombBomb integration, click the blue "Connect" button. 

Step 4: Paste your API Key into the text box, then click "Save API Key."

Sending a video in Total Expert

Step 1: In your Total Expert account, click the downward "Actions" arrow at the top of your screen. From here, click "Marketing." Then, select "Send BombBomb video."

Step 2: To send a video, select "Send Video." 

Step 3: Click the blue "Record New Video" button if you wish to record a video or select a previously recorded video from your workspace.

Step 4: After you've finished recording or selected a video from your workspace, your video is ready to send! Fill out the subject line and message, then click the "Send" button.
