BombBomb's email composer makes it easy to attach files, images, PDFs, and documents to your emails. Your attached files are hosted on BombBomb's site, so you'll never run into problems trying to send emails that are "too big" or have issues with email delivery. Since we host your files locally, many people can open your attachment at the same time — with no web traffic issues.
To learn how to attach files in an email, watch this video or keep reading below.
There are three places you can attach a file in an email:
We'll show you all three.
First, open an email in your Emails tab by either clicking on "New Email" or "Edit" next to an existing email.
To attach a file to text
Step 1: Click into a text box and add the text to which you'd like to attach the file. Using your cursor, select this text, and then click the Link icon in the black editing bar above the text box.
Step 2: This will open the link settings in the left panel. Click the dropdown arrow next to "Link Type" and select "File."
Step 3: This will open the files you have previously uploaded in BombBomb. You can choose one of these files to attach, or click "Add New File" to select a file from your computer. When you are done, click "Save Link." (And don't forget to save your email after you've edited it!)
To attach a file to a button
Step 1: To add a button to your email, click on the "Layout" tab in the left panel and find the Button element.
Step 2: Drag and drop the Button element into your email. The areas where you can add a button will turn teal as you hover over them.
Step 3: The button settings will open in the left panel. (Or click on the button to open the settings.) You can edit your button here, including changing the button text and the look of the button. To attach a file, click the dropdown arrow next to "Link type" and select "File."
Step 4: This will open the files you have previously uploaded in BombBomb. You can choose one of these files to attach or click "Add New File" to select a file from your computer. When you are done, click "Close Button Settings." (And don't forget to save your email after editing!)
