Since you're often on the go, it would make sense that a lot of your connections are also on the go. This means they may not always be checking their emails to view your video emails. But fear not - just because they won't see your video emails in their inbox while they're out and about doesn't mean they can't see your videos at all. What if your videos were sent to your recipients as a text message?
With BombBomb, you can send your videos through text message straight from the mobile app! You can record your video and choose to share it through text, or you can even send a pre-recorded video that's already in your video library. By sharing your videos through text, you'll avoid the typical fuzziness that comes with smartphones and your video will be automatically uploaded and stored in your BombBomb account.
Check out the video above to learn how to send your on-the-go videos through text!
If you'd prefer to read, here's a step by step:
Open the mobile app on your phone. To record a new video to text, tap the red button down at the bottom of the app.
Once in the recorder, there are several things you can do to record a great looking video. At the top of the screen, you'll see that there are several things you can do; you can set a timer for your video, change the white balance, and even add a filter. On the bottom right, you'll see you can also flip from your screen camera to your front-facing camera. Tap the red button at the bottom middle of the screen to begin and end your recording.
Once you've finished recording, you have some more options. On the bottom left, you can re-record your video if you are not satisfied. If you'd like to play back your video, tap the play button in the middle. On the bottom right, you have the option to take a photo for your video thumbnail. You can enter a name for your video in the video title field. Once you're satisfied, select the "Next" button at the upper right of your screen.
Once you go to the next page, you'll see that the video will be uploading (and then encoding) for the text and social sharing options. This happens so the video can upload and encode for all platforms and your recipients can all view your video when and how they please.
When the video is done uploading and encoding, select the "Text" option.
You'll see when you select "Text," there are several places where you can share this. To share through regular text, select the "Messages" icon.
The link to the video as well as some default text will then populate an empty text message. Put in a recipient's name to send the video to, edit the text if you wish, and then send it off like a normal text message.
You can also text a video from the mobile app that is already in your video library. To do this, open the mobile app and tap the video library icon on the bottom right of the screen.
You will see all the videos that are currently in your BombBomb video library. Tap on the video you'd like to send.
You'll see we're exactly where we were a few steps ago! You can enter a name for your video in the video title field or choose to take a thumbnail image for your video. Once you're finished, hit the "Next" button and follow the same steps as we did above.
