How can I send videos from my Gmail account?
BombBomb offers two features to seamlessly send videos from your Gmail account: our Gmail integration and our Chrome extension. So what's the difference between these two?
Here's the short of it:
- The Gmail Integration improves your BombBomb email deliverability and allows you to sync your Gmail contacts with BombBomb.
- The Chrome extension allows you to record and send videos right from your Gmail account.

What does the Gmail integration allow me to do?
The Gmail integration allows you to seamlessly sync your Gmail contacts with your BombBomb account. When you connect the Gmail integration with your BombBomb account, BombBomb also uses Gmail servers to send your emails.
Why does this matter? Well, Gmail servers are more familiar to your computer and settings, making it a better platform for email sending instead of introducing another one (BombBomb servers) into the mix. Since you'll be sending from a familiar server, it improves your deliverability status and your emails are less likely to end up in anyone's junk mail.

What does the Chrome extension allow me to do?
With the Chrome extension, you can record videos right from your Chrome browser or Gmail account — without having to log into BombBomb. You'll also be able to track any of the emails that you send from your Gmail account and receive real-time notifications letting you know when your emails are opened, videos are played, and links are clicked. You'll be able to see all tracking activity in a collapsible tracking bar that will be displayed in your Gmail inbox.
With the Chrome extension, you'll also be able to access your workspace, send pre-recorded videos, create canned responses, and turn on/off tracking for individual emails.
