Recording Mobile Videos for Total Expert Journeys

Connecting your camera app video in a Total Expert Journey

Recording Total Expert Journey videos in the BombBomb Mobile App

Step 1: Open up the BombBomb Mobile App. At the bottom right, you can flip to the front-facing camera. To begin recording a video, tap the “Record” button at the bottom middle of your screen.

Pro Tip: Videos look best in landscape orientation, so rotate your camera before you hit that record button!  

Step 2: Once you begin recording, you will see a timer in the upper right corner of your screen. In the bottom left of your screen, you can pause your video. You can also use the icon in the lower right to flip your camera. And to stop recording, hit the big red stop button in the middle of your screen.

Step 3: Once you’ve finished recording, you can do a few things while your video is uploading. In the upper left, you can re-record your video. In the middle of your screen, you can tap the video thumbnail to play it back. From here, you can also cancel your upload. At the bottom right, you can pause your upload.

Step 4: Once your video is uploaded, you can edit your video. In the upper right, you can click “Edit” to retitle your video, edit your thumbnail, or add a call-to-action banner.

Step 5: When you’re done, be sure to click “Save Edits.”

Step 1: To connect this video in a Total Expert Journey, log in to your BombBomb account via your web browser. (You can do this from your mobile device, but logging in on your computer is much easier.)

In the Vist tab in the top navigation bar, select the event from the assigned list you would like to link your mobile video to and click the "Record this video" button to continue.

Step 2: Select "Choose from Library" in the upper right corner (above the video placeholder).

Step 3: Search for your mobile video in your Video Library and select "Insert" to apply the video to the event.

Step 4: Finally, once you see your video in the video placeholder, you can choose "Save and Continue," and your video will be live in your Total Expert Journey.

Step 1: Record your video on the mobile camera app of your choice and make sure to save the video to your mobile device (download if needed).

Step 2: Open the BombBomb Mobile app and select the Video Library icon and click the "Upload" button in the upper right corner.

Step 3: When the Video Quality option appears, be sure to select "High Quality" so that the video appears clearest for the recipient of your Total Expert Journey communication.

Step 4: Select the video to upload from your mobile device’s native photo library. You will have the ability to preview the video, and once you have the video you’d like to upload, select "Choose."

Step 5: You must allow BombBomb to have access to your photos. You can upload one or multiple videos to your BombBomb Video Library during this step.

Step 6: You should now be able to see your desired video(s) in your BombBomb Video Library.
