For our newest release, we wanted our users to be able to view a roll-up of their statistics, add contacts to their account, quickly create an email, and start using integrations - all from one centralized location.
In this brief video, we'll show you everything that is displayed on your brand new dashboard. We'll teach you how to understand everything that you see upon first logging into your BombBomb account so you can get a quick idea of how your video emails are doing.
You'll see where to look for your most recent tracking, how to add contacts quickly, how to access the email composer, and where to use the Quick Send feature. We'll also talk about our newly revamped integrations page and show you how to search for an integration as well as connect them to your account.

Logging into your BombBomb account brings you straight to your new dashboard. There are a variety of functions you can do and statistics you can view from the dashboard. On the very left, you'll find the Quick Send. This is where you can easily and quickly send a video within seconds without having to build an entirely new email.
In the middle, you'll see where you can add contacts. When you click here, you will get the contact uploader pop-up, which will allow you to add a .csv file, a group of contacts, or an individual contact. This section also shows you the total number of contacts in your BombBomb account.
Underneath the contact section, you'll have a section where you can build a campaign. This is where you can go quickly to the email composer if you would like to create a brand new email. Along with that, you can also see a roll-up of your email statistics right underneath: emails sent, total opens, and total video plays.
In the bottom left, you will also see a roll-up number of the total videos in your account. This will help you see just how active you are in using video to reach out to your connections!
On the right, you'll see your tracking feed. This feed tracks your video emails from any location you can send BombBomb emails, including your BombBomb account, the Quick Send, and your Gmail account (if you have the Gmail integration connected). It shows you which emails have been sent, which emails have been opened, which videos have been played, and which links have been clicked. This feed is also real-time, so no need to refresh your page!
You can also access our integrations page. If you use another platform or CRM and are thinking of integrating with your BombBomb account, you can go here to connect the two.
To use the Quick Send, go ahead and type in an email address into the "To" field. Then, you can either hit the Enter key or click the "Next" button.
This will open up the Quick Send. At the top, you can add more contacts into the "To" field and fill in your subject line. At the top right, you'll see where you can access videos already in your BombBomb account or change out your Quick Send templates. If you'd like to record a video, you can start by hitting the red record button right underneath the video placeholder. At the bottom right of the recorder, you'll see where you can film a screen recording or change the settings of your video.
When you scroll down, you will see a text box where you can add body text to your video. In the bottom left, you can check notification boxes if you'd like to be notified of all your email opens and video plays from this send. If you want the current settings on this Quick Send email to be used each time, you can click the "Save Settings as Default" option in the bottom right corner. Once you're finished creating your Quick Send email, click the "Send" button in the top right to send your email.
Once you send your emails, you can view the tracking feed on your dashboard. It shows you opens, plays, and clicks of your emails, as well as how long ago the action took place.
If you sent the email through your BombBomb account, you can click the three vertical dots to the right of the email you sent. From here, you can click "Tracking" to view the tracking page and get more tracking details on your email send, you can click "Reply" to reply to an email right from your feed, or you can click "View" to view what your email send looked like.
If you have the Gmail integration connected and sent an email from your Gmail inbox, you may notice that there is no tracking data available for that email. This is because BombBomb emails sent from Gmail are sent on Gmail's servers - not ours. Therefore, we are unable to track your recipient's activity since this email was not sent on BombBomb servers.
If you click the "Add Your Contacts" option in the middle of your dashboard, you will see the contact uploader. From here, you can choose a tab based on if you're uploading a .csv file, adding an individual contact, or copying/pasting a small group of email addresses. Then you can select a list to add the contacts to (or create a new one right from here if you don't already have one for this specific group of people) and choose whether this addition is express or implied consent. Once you're finished, you can click the "Add Contacts" button to add these contacts to your account.
If you click the "Check out our integrations" option at the top right of your dashboard, you'll be taken to our Integrations page. From here, you can use the search bar to search for a specific integration or even use the dropdown to filter certain integrations. At the top right, our API key is available so you can copy it and paste it into your CRM if you need to.
To connect to an integration, click on the integration. You'll be able to read benefits of this particular integration with BombBomb, as well as watch a video showing you how to connect the integration. To begin connecting, go to the "Setup" section and enter your username for the CRM/platform (if applicable) and click the "Connect" button.
On your dashboard, you can also look at common questions for each section. You'll notice question marks underneath each section, and when clicked, they will bring up a list of the most common questions related to that section. This is extremely helpful if you're trying to understand more about video email and the best ways to use it!
