For a while, Prompt subscribers were only able to share their Prompt email campaigns to Facebook. This is extremely valuable, but what about images and videos? Aren't those media elements just as valuable in triggering responses and catching the attention of your sphere? They sure are, and now we've added the ability for you to share images and videos to your Facebook page - right from within your BombBomb account.
Prompt subscribers will now have images and videos provided to share on Facebook. You'll now have a variety of content types to share with your connections that will encourage Facebook engagement and provide value to those who follow you.
Check out the overview below to learn how it works and see how your videos and images will look in your Prompt carousel and on your Facebook page!
This is what a typical campaign email looks like in your account. You can see that there's a placeholder for an image or video, and you can see text underneath the placeholder that shows it is an email.
This is what a video only post will look like in your carousel. You will see a video populate the carousel instead of any text, and you'll be able to preview and see the post as a whole before it publishes. You can also play the video while you're in preview mode. If you'd like to modify the text that accompanies your video, click the "Modify" button over the video in your carousel.
When the video publishes to Facebook, this is what it looks like. Your friends and connections won't have to view the video on a separate page; they can play the video right on your page.
This is what an image only post will look like in your carousel. You will see an image populate the carousel instead of any text or a video with a "play" icon on the front, and you'll be able to preview and see the post as a whole before it publishes. You will also be provided a suggested post, which can accompany the image on your Facebook page if you'd like. To add the suggested post, click the "View & Start" option, click the "Suggested Post" option, and then copy the text. Then, paste the text into the text box above the image and click the "Save & Close" button. Now, the suggested post will automatically publish with your image. If you don't want the suggested post, you don't need any text at all or you can add your own!
