Being a BombBomb administrator for your team allows you access to all kinds of useful information on your team members, how they're performing, what email designs they're using, and much more. However, it can sometimes be a pain being the only point of contact that has the ability to do certain things for your team. It can be stressful trying to coordinate things for your team while conducting your own video email efforts.
Well, we're happy to say that we've fixed that problem! Now you have the ability to change your administrator permissions for your team members, allowing other team members to manage certain aspects of your team's account. This frees up more of your time to manage your team instead of constantly making administrative changes to their account in BombBomb. More time, better control, efficient processes - what could be better for your team?
Here is a small comparison chart that shows what each administrator permission allows:
To change the administrator permissions for your team members and understand what each permission allows access to, check out the video above!
If you'd prefer to read, here's a step-by-step:
To begin, log into your BombBomb account and click on the "Team" tab.
Hover over a team member whose administrator permissions you'd like to change and click the gearwheel icon. From here, you should see a dropdown with a few options. Select the "Make Admin" option.
You will then see a pop-up for editing that user's permissions. Select the arrow on the dropdown to view the permission options.
From here, you can select specific permissions for the team member.
The Content Administrator has the ability to share content to designated team(s). They can share emails, videos, forms, and campaigns within the BombBomb application to any designated team. They can also share snippets within the Chrome extension to any designated team. The Content Admin CANNOT access team settings or log in to any other accounts.
The Quality Assurance Administrator has the ability to log in to any account within their designated team(s) to review any content they choose. Content available to QA Administrators include videos (sent via Gmail or BombBomb application), forms, campaigns, and emails sent through the BombBomb application. QA Adminis CANNOT manage/share content or manage seats (adding and removing) within their designated team(s).
The Team Administrator has the ability to access, manage, and share content, as well as manage seats (adding and removing) within their designated team(s). Team Admins CANNOT log in to a Super Administrator's account OR other Team Administrator's accounts.
Once you've chosen the preferred administrator permissions, click the "Save" button to save your changes.
You can also choose to allow your subteam administrators the ability to add team members to their subteam. To do this, click the "Settings" option on the left side panel.
On the Team Settings page, you will see a section for "Subteam Admin Permissions." Check the box next to the "Subteam Admins May Add Users to This Group" options. Now your subteam administrators can add users to their subteams!
Just as a note, a Super Administrator has the ability to log in to any account, including the accounts of Subteam Administrators that report to them. Super Administrators can access, manage (adding and removing), and share content, as well as manage seats within their designated teams. They CANNOT log into any other Super Administrator's account OR log into any Subteam Administrator's account that does not fall within their designated teams. Assigning someone on your team as a Super Administrator can only be done via BombBomb at this time. However, our developers are working to make this an option for you in the future!
