If you have a large team or manage several teams, creating subteams can be a huge help. You can break your team into subteams by regions, states, departments, etc.
Subteams allow you to:
- Compare team stats by subteam to better understand each team's performance.
- Manage different strategies for different teams.
- Share content specific to each subteam, avoiding confusion.
To learn how to create a sub-team, watch this video, or read the step-by-step instructions below.
Here are the step-by-step instructions.
Step 1: Go to your Team tab. To add a subteam, click on the three vertical dots to the right of your team name. Select "Add Subteam."
Step 2: A pop-up will appear, asking you to name your subteam. Fill in the name of your subteam and click "Submit."
Step 3: Now you'll see the subteam name at the top of the left panel. Follow the usual process to add team members by clicking "Add Members" on the left panel. Read more about that process here.
Step 4: To view your subteams, click the page switch icon, which is an arrow facing left and an arrow facing right, next to your team's name. Click on the subteam you'd like to view.
To delete a subteam: Click on the page switch icon to navigate to the subteam you'd like to delete. Once here, click on the three vertical dots next to the subteam you'd like to delete and click "Delete."
Subteam administrators: If you would like to designate administrators for your subteams, check out this article about managing administrator permissions.
