With BombBomb, you can add a mass number of contacts to your account when you upload a .csv file. While most .csv files will seamlessly upload contacts into your BombBomb account, there are a few things that could cause your file to fail. We know this can be super frustrating!
Watch this video or read the steps below to learn how to format your .csv file.
Follow these steps to import your contact file into BombBomb effectively.
Step 1: Download the File
- Download from CRM: Obtain your contact file from your CRM.

Step 2: Clean Up Your .csv File

-
Format: Remove any formatting, headers, or blank columns. Only include the following columns:

-
Save As:
- Choose “Save As.”
- Click “Browse” to select a storage location and name your file.
- Click the drop-down arrow next to “Save As Type.”
- Select "CSV (Comma delimited)."
Step 4: Select the Correct Contact List
-
Importing Contacts:
- Click "Add People" to begin the upload process.
- In the upload options window, click "Add to List" to select the specific contact list for the upload.
Notes on Upload Results
- Contact Count Differences: Be aware that the number of contacts in your .csv file may differ from the number uploaded. BombBomb's system removes duplicates and does not upload contacts without a valid email address.
