In a world of "likes" and emojis, we love instant feedback. When you send a video through BombBomb, your recipients will have the option to “like” your video or even send a reply right from the landing page — without having to reply to your email. Re/Actions help you keep your lines of communication open, constant, and quick!
To see how Re/Action works, keep reading!
What do Re/Actions look like? When you email a video to one recipient or a group of recipients, they’ll see options to “like” the video by clicking the thumbs-up icon. They will also have the option to leave a reply or to reply with a video of their own.
If the commenter is a recipient we can’t identify through tracking, an optional name field will appear so your commenter can let you know who they are.
Likes: You’ll receive an email for each “like” a video receives. The email will show a thumbs-up icon with a message that your recipient has “liked” a video.
Comments: If your recipient comments on your video, you’ll receive a separate email. The email will show a speech balloon icon with your recipient’s message.
Video Replies: If your recipient sends you a video reply, you'll receive a separate email notification with the details of their reply as well as the video itself.
How do I change my notification settings?
If you’d prefer not to receive email notifications of likes, comments, or video replies, click on your name in the top right corner of your account and click “Settings."
On your video page select the "Settings" option from the menu on the left underneath "Account Settings."
From the notifications page toggle on the desired notifications.
Can I turn off Re/Actions?
Yes! If you’d rather not enable people to comment on, like, or reply with video to your videos, you can turn these features off.
Step 1: Hover over your name in the upper right corner of your BombBomb account and select “Video Page.”
Step 2: Scroll down until you see “Re/Actions” in the left panel and toggle this off.
If you’re a Team Admin, you can choose to toggle Re/Actions on or off for your entire team by following these easy steps:
Step 1: Log into your admin account and navigate to the “Team” tab.
Step 2: Under “Manage Team” - “Team Settings,” you will see the option to toggle Re/Actions on or off for your whole team.
Where can I see my Re/Actions?
If you’d like to see all the likes, comments, and video replies you’ve received, you can find that on the tracking page for each video. Go to your Video tab and click the Track icon next to the video you’d like to see the Re/Actions for. You’ll see the likes, comments, and video replies listed under the video.
You can also see an overview of likes and comments on your Video tab underneath each video. You can click these to go to the tracking page for that video.
When are Re/Actions available?
Re/Actions are available on all your BombBomb videos and emails, whether sent from your BombBomb account, mobile app, or Chrome extension. It’s even available when you text a video link or share it on social media apps!
Re/Actions are also available on platforms or integrations where BombBomb has built the video recorder. These include:

Does this only work if we send it from the bombbomb page, or does it work with integrations such as BoomTown?
If it works with BoomTown, if we send a broadcast email through Boomtown, does that count an individual messages, or as 1 message to multiple users?

Thank you for your comment and question! As long as the email is sent from BombBomb servers, then the Re/Action feature will be available.
Unfortunately, BoomTown is not set up to send through BombBomb's servers, so the Re/Action feature will not work for emails sent from BoomTown.

Because Contactually uses a BombBomb built recorder, it should send through our servers, which will allow for the Re/Action feature to work.

The integrations we have listed as being built by BombBomb, and with a video recorder, are listed below:
- Contactually
- Follow Up Boss
- Gmail
- Crome Extension
- Salesforce
- Outlook
As long as it is a BombBomb built recorder, Re/Actions will be available for one to one sends. If the integration utilizes our web servers to send their mail, then they will eventually have Re/Actions available when sending to multiple people at once (if the integration allows the recorder to be used on large sends).

Your next email Prompt campaign will have Re/Actions enabled, and they will work on your one to one email sends as well.
Since we cannot track who is playing your videos on social posts, that feature is not available for Social Prompts at this time.
