If you have the Chrome extension, you know how beneficial it is to be able to send and track video email right from within your Gmail inbox. Our real-time tracking feed allows you to be notified instantly of your recipient opening your email, playing your videos, and clicking your links. Now, we've made it even easier for you to read your tracking feed so you can see all of the engagement you've gotten for each email!
With your new tracking feed, the engagement for each email will be condensed into its own tab, allowing for more streamlined information and a cleaner, less-cluttered feed. Your tracking feed still allows you to record a video or send a text reply in response, but now you can even view all of the engagement your email has gotten - not just the last open, click, or play! You'll be able to see just how interested your recipient is in your video email for better, more accurate follow-up.
To learn how to read your Gmail tracking feed, check out the instruction below!
After logging into your Gmail inbox (and installing the BombBomb Chrome extension), you'll see your tracking feed on the right side of your screen. This is where you can see all of the tracking information for each email you've sent, whether or not it includes a video.
To the right of each engagement that comes into your tracking feed, you will now see a set of three vertical dots. This is what you click when you want to view the different options for this particular message.
Once you click on the three vertical dots, you will now see various options that you can choose from! Check out what each of these icons mean below:
This is the record icon. You can click this to reply back to your recipient automatically with a video email.
This is the reply icon. You can click this if you want to reply to your recipient without a video using only text.
This is the view icon. If you'd like to view the email message you sent or your recipient sent to you, you can select this and your inbox messages will filter, showing the message by itself in your inbox that you can click.
This is the thread icon. If you want to view all of the engagement this particular message has received, click this and your tracking feed will filter. It will show you email opens, video plays, and link clicks and the number of times each has occurred.
When you click the thread icon, this is how each engagement action will appear in your tracking feed. To exit out of your threaded tracking, click the X button and you will return to your normal tracking feed view.
