The best mash-up known to man has happened...ladies and gentlemen, the Zendesk and BombBomb integration is finally here!
If your support team is struggling to boost their CSAT scores, get replies, or connect with their customers, look no further. With the Zendesk and BombBomb integration, your support team can add BombBomb video messages to their support ticket responses! Video has been proven over and over to be faster, more convenient, and more personal than typed-out text. And with BombBomb, your support team can do whatever they need to do with video - right from within their Zendesk account.
With BombBomb in your support center, you'll be able to record and send live videos right from within a support ticket. Additionally, you'll also have the screen recorder function, which means you can record your screen activity for program walkthroughs, tech support tutorials, introductions, and many other scenarios. And if you're struggling to boost your CSATs? No problem - check out how we build relationships and satisfy customers by using video with Zendesk.
To learn how to set up your Zendesk integration, check out the video above!
If you'd prefer to read, here's a step by step:
To set up the Zendesk integration, open a new ticket and click the Zendesk BombBomb recorder icon beneath the text box.
You will be prompted for your BombBomb credentials. Enter your email and password associated with your BombBomb account and click the "Sign in" button.
Zendesk will then request access to your BombBomb account. Click the "Allow" button.
Now the Zendesk BombBomb integration is set up! To insert a video into your tickets, click the same Zendesk BombBomb recorder icon beneath the text box.
The recorder will pop out of the icon. To begin recording a video, click the recording icon in the center of the screen.
Once you're done recording, you can either hit the spacebar on your keyboard or click the "Stop" icon in the middle of your screen.
This will stop your recording. Beneath the video, you will see you have options to re-record your video, play back your video, or take a thumbnail photo if you'd prefer a still image over a animated GIF. Once you're happy with your video, click the "Save" button.
You will see that the video now embeds into your ticket.
In addition to recording live videos, you also have the option of doing a screen recording if you'd like to show someone how to do something on screen. To access the screen recorder, click the same Zendesk BombBomb recorder icon below the text box. Click the screen recorder icon, which looks like a box with a plus sign.
The screen recorder will then launch. For your first time using the screen recorder, you will see a pop-up requesting to open the screen recorder. You can save this option for next time so you do not see it again. Click the "Open BombBomb Screen Recorder" button.
Once the screen recorder application opens, you will see the camera bubble appear in the bottom left corner of your screen. If you'd like to film without the camera bubble, click the "X" in the upper left of the bubble. If you have an external camera and a laptop/computer camera, the camera used in the screen recorder will use whichever camera you have set as your default in BombBomb. (To change which camera you're using, exit the screen recorder and change it in the "Screen Settings" in the top right.)
You will also see a toolbar underneath the camera bubble. The first icon is the "camera mode," where you can switch from recording your screen to closing the screen and recording just from your camera (this can be done during recording, too!) The second icon is the "stop" button to stop your recording. All the way on the right of the toolbar is the timer for your recording.
If the screen recorder banner at the top of the screen is in your way, simply click the minimize button. This will shorter the banner and move it to the bottom right of your screen. To expand this back to its original location, click the "expand" option to restore it.
To begin your screen recording, click the "Start Recording" button in your toolbar. Then press the "stop" icon underneath your camera bubble to stop the recording.
Once you've finished recording, you will get a pop-up telling you to return to your window where you started the screen recording. (This is simply a reminder, as most people will be recording a screen in a different window or tab.)
As before, you will then have options to re-record your screen recording, play back your screen recording, or take a thumbnail photo if you'd prefer a still image over a animated GIF. Once you're happy with your screen recording, click the "Save" button.
