Shape and BombBomb integration

 

What will this integration will allow you to do?

• Provide a personalized and face-to-face experience when connecting with clients
• Create and build relationships with the click of a button
• Add videos to email and SMS messages, from within Shape. 

Here's a simple, step-by-step guide to get started! 

Step 1: Login to your BombBomb account here.

Step 2: In a new tab in your browser, open Shape Software. Within Shape, navigate to the Integrations page by clicking on "Settings" in the gradient navigation bar. Then click "Integrations" on the lefthand sidebar. (Or you can go to this link: https://secure.setshape.com/integrations.) Find the BombBomb integration and click "Connect" as shown in the picture below.

 

 

Step 3: A popup may appear asking you to allow Shape permission to access BombBomb. Click "Allow." Once connected, the “Connect” button will change to “Connected.”

 

Where can I embed BombBomb videos?

• Direct emails
• Email templates
• Advanced email templates
• Direct SMS messages
• SMS templates

How do I embed a video in a direct email?

Step 1: Click on the Email icon in the list view or on an email address in the customer profile page to bring up the email popup.

Step 2: Click on the "Insert image" icon in the editor toolbar at the top of your email template. A dropdown menu will appear containing three icons. Click on the last icon as pictured below:

 

 

Step 3: From the pop up, select the video or image you’d like to embed into your email by clicking on the "+." Your videos will display as an animated gif in your message. (If the image is not moving, then this is not a gif, but just an image.) 

 

 

How do I embed a video into an email template?

Step 1: Navigate to the "Email Templates" settings page under the "Templates" section. Step 2: Click on the "insert image" icon in the editor toolbar at the top of your email template. A drop-down menu will appear containing three icons. Click on the last icon as pictured below.  

 

 

Step 3: Select the one you’d like to embed into your email template by clicking on the "+." 

 

 

How do I embed a video in an advanced email template?

Step 1: Navigate to the Advanced Email Builder in the "Settings" section of Shape. Then find the "Link Block" icon located in the righthand toolbar. Drag and drop it into your template.

 

 

Step 2: Drag the "Image" icon from the righthand toolbar and drop it directly into the Link Block. Select the image/video you'd like to insert.

 

 

Step 3: Find your BombBomb videos by clicking on the video icon in the top toolbar. Click "Copy URL" on the video that you’d like to embed.

 

 

Step 4: Click on the link block and choose the settings icon. Paste the video URL that you copied in the previous step in the Href field.

 

 

How do I embed a video in a direct SMS message?

Step 1: Click on the "BombBomb Bitlinks" button and select your video bitlink to copy and paste into your message field.

 

 

How do I embed a video in an SMS template?

Step 1: Navigate to your SMS Template page by clicking on "Settings" in the gradient navigation bar.

Step 2: Select "SMS Templates" from the sidebar under the "Templates" section and add or edit a template.

Step 3: Click on the "BombBomb Videos Bitlinks" button as pictured below.

 

 

Step 4: Copy the Bitlink of the desired video and paste it in the body of the SMS template.
