Have you ever wanted to be able to embed a call-to-action to a video while in your Android app? Now you can! You can direct the people watching your video to click through to a link embedded in your video. You can use it to direct them to your website, a survey, a helpful resource, and much more!
A call to action is a seamless way to ensure follow-through, as viewers can click the link from the video rather than having to navigate back to your message.
Watch this video or read the instructions below to get started.
Below are the easy step-by-step instructions!
Step 1: Record your video or choose a video from your video Workspace. Then click the "Edit" button in the upper right corner of your screen.
Quick Tip: When you're recording your video, ask people to click on the link below and point downwards. It's a great way to add visual interest while reminding them to click!
Step 2: To add a CTA, toggle on "Add a Call-to-Action Banner." Then type the text you'd like to appear on the banner and paste the URL link you'd like the banner to direct to.
To remove your CTA, toggle off Add a Call-to-Action Banner.
To edit an existing CTA, simply edit your title or URL from this same screen. When you're done, click "Save Edits."
Step 3: Send your video! Once you've saved your edits, you'll be taken back to the Share screen. Now, you'll see that there is a small blue CTA box to the left of your video. Note: If you play your video back from this screen, you won't see the CTA; but don't worry; it's there and ready to be sent to your viewers!
