Have you received an email or notice that your BombBomb video upload failed? The most common reason for this is your internet speed. This article will show you how to check your internet speed.
Note: A less common reason for video uploading failure is video file size. Our video file size limit is 2GB.
Checking your upload and download speed
Go to Google and search "Internet Speed Test." Press the Google-generated "Run Speed Test."
BombBomb needs a minimum of a 3-5 mbps speed upload for videos to encode properly. If you are having issues recording while at home, anything slower than this should be addressed by your internet provider.
If you are recording a BombBomb video on your phone and are away from your home or desk, you may not have a strong enough signal available. We recommend recording your video directly to your phone's camera roll or gallery to bypass any connectivity issues. When you're within a strong signal again, you can easily upload your video to your BombBomb video library through our mobile app.
