Have you received an email or notice that your BombBomb video upload failed? The most common reason for this is your internet speed. This article will show you how to check your internet speed. 

Note: A less common reason for video uploading failure is video file size. Our video file size limit is 2GB. 

How to Test Your Internet Speed

1. Search: Go to Google and type "Internet Speed Test."
2. Run Test: Click on the "Run Speed Test" button generated by Google.

Minimum Speed Requirements

• Upload Speed: BombBomb requires a minimum upload speed of 3-5 Mbps for videos to encode properly.
• If Issues Occur: If you're experiencing problems while recording at home and your speed is below this threshold, contact your internet provider for assistance.

Tips for Mobile Recording

• Recording on the Go: If you're using BombBomb to record a video on your phone while away from home, you may encounter connectivity issues due to a weak signal.

• Recommended Solution:

  • Record your video directly to your phone's camera roll or gallery.
  • Once you have a strong signal again, upload your video to your BombBomb video library using our mobile app.
