Adding a virtual background to your video

Virtual backgrounds can make your videos look great no matter where you're working from. They can also ensure your team videos look consistent and professional. You will now be able to use a Virtual Background in the BombBomb recorder and feel comfortable recording in the privacy of your home without worrying about the current background.

How to turn on virtual backgrounds for individuals

Step 1: Open your recorder, and click the "Virtual Backgrounds" icon to the left of the Gear icon in the lower right corner. 

Step 3: You can use one of our pre-loaded background options or even the BombBomb blur option.

Step 3: If you want to upload your own background, use the  "+" icon next to "Backgrounds" to select an image from your computer. Our recommended image size is 1280W x 720H. 

Step 4: Select your image, then click the X to close the Settings menu.

Step 5: Record your video, and send it off! 

How to turn on virtual backgrounds for Teams 

Step 1: For Admins, choose the "Team" tab from within your BombBomb account.

Step 2: Choose "Content" on the left side of your screen in the toolbar.

Step 3: Under "Content," select "Virtual Backgrounds" and click "New Background" to upload an image for your team to use. 

Step 4: Once you've added the virtual background you'd like your team to use, they can follow the individual user instructions above.
