How to turn on virtual backgrounds for individuals
Step 1: Open your recorder, and click the "Effects" icon to the left of the gear icon in the lower right corner.
Step 2: You can use one of our pre-loaded background options or even the BombBomb blur option.
Step 3: If you want to upload your own background, click "Upload" to select an image from your computer. Our recommended image size is 1280W x 720H.
Step 4: Once selected, you have the option to adjust the appearance of your background. This could include zooming, color balance, and other options.
Step 5: Once you're happy with your virtual background choice click the X to close the Settings menu.
Step 5: If you want to adjust the quality of your virtual background, based on your computer's compatibility and performance, you can do so by selecting the "Video Settings gear icon" in the bottom right of your recorder.
Step 6: Once in your video settings select "Background Quality" and choose the best setting for you.
*Pro Tip: The better the quality the crisper your background will look. If you have an older computer or are noticing any lag in your video then lower the background quality.
Step 7: Record your video, and send it off!
