This article shows you how to enable BombBomb’s optional CRM integrations with Outreach and Total Expert. These integrations let BombBomb forward video play tracking data into your CRM. The integrations are securely authenticated through your CRM platform (via OAuth) and do not require any API keys or engineering support. They are optional features of Copilot and are not required to use Copilot’s core video swapping features.

Step-by-Step Instructions

🔄 Enable CRM Platforms for Automated Campaigns

• In BombBomb, go to Manage Team from the left navigation.
  
  

• Click the Permissions tab at the top.
  
  

• Scroll down to the Automated Workflow Integrations section.
  
  

• Toggle on the CRM platforms you want to enable:

  • Total Expert: Turn the toggle ON.

    • Enter a Service Provider name and click Save. (Optional)
      
      

  • Outreach: Toggle will appear if Outreach integration is available for your account.

🗣️ Note: This step allows BombBomb to send Automate campaign videos through these CRMs once they are connected from the CRM side. It does not create the connection itself.

🔐 Connect BombBomb From Within Your CRM

Connections are made directly through your CRM, using a secure login (OAuth). No API key or technical setup is required.

Total Expert Users:

• Log into Total Expert.

• Navigate to your integrations or automation settings.

• Select BombBomb as your video platform.

• When prompted, log into your BombBomb account.

Outreach Users:

• Log into Outreach.

• Go to the Outreach Marketplace or Integrations panel.

• Select BombBomb and begin the installation.

• When prompted, sign in to BombBomb to authorize.

🗣️ Note: These CRM integrations only send video play tracking data to your CRM—they do not affect or control video personalization within Copilot.

Q: Do I need this setup to use Copilot’s video swapping?
A: No. These CRM integrations are optional and only send video play data into your CRM.

Q: Do I need to request an API key from BombBomb?
A: No. BombBomb no longer issues open API keys. These integrations use secure login (OAuth) from your CRM.

Q: Will I need help from my IT team to connect these?
A: No. The entire setup can be completed by admins through the CRM and BombBomb UI—no engineering support is needed.

Q: What’s actually shared with my CRM?
A: Only video play events from BombBomb are shared. No other video data or recipient details are transmitted.
