Have you ever wanted to be able to add a call-to-action banner to a video while in your iOS app? Now you can! With a call-to-action, you can direct the people watching your video to click through to a link — to your website, a survey, or a helpful resource.
It's a seamless way to ensure follow-through, as viewers can click the link from the video rather than having to navigate back to your message.
Here are the easy step-by-step instructions!
Step 1: Record your video or choose a video from your Video Library tab. Then click the "Edit" button in the upper right corner of your screen.
Quick Tip: When you're recording your video, ask people to click on the link below and point upwards. It's a great way to add some visual interest while reminding them to click!
Step 2: Toggle on "Add a Call-to-Action banner." Then type the text you'd like to appear on the banner and paste the link you'd like the banner to direct to. When you're done, click "Save Edits."
Step 3: Send your video! Once you've saved your edits, you'll be taken back to the Share screen. You'll see that there is now a blue CTA box at the top left of your video screen, so you know your banner has been added. If you play your video back from this screen, you won't see the CTA; but don't worry; it's there and ready to be sent to your viewers!
Quick Tip: If you want to edit or remove your CTA in the future, just come back to the "Edit" screen. But keep in mind that it will update or delete your CTA everywhere you have previously shared the video.
