Trimming and stitching your videos

You created a fantastic video, and you’re ready to send it but...

1. You spent four seconds fumbling over the pronunciation of your recipient’s name — preventing you from hitting the “send” button.
2. You need to add some content from another video that you have already recorded.

What do you do?  Now, instead of re-recording it, you can trim your video or stitch together multiple videos to get it exactly how you want.

Trimming a video

Step 1: From your Dashboard, click the “Videos” tab at the top of your screen. 

Step 2: From your videos tab, click the “Edit/pencil icon” next to the video you want to trim. 

Step 3: From the edit video menu, select "trim and stitch videos" and click the blue ”Trim video” button. 

Step 4: The trimming screen will open; from here, you have the ability to play the video for review or click on the timeline below to select a specific moment in the video.  Once your moment is selected you can choose to split that video at that moment.

Once split, you have 2 options:

• Drag the ends of the new clips to start and stop at the points you want to remain in your video.  The section without the outline will be removed from the video once saved.

• You can split in a second place and then select the section(The highlighted portion) in between your splits to be deleted.

Step 5: Once you have all your edits made, click the "Save" button in the top right.

Step 6: After you save your video edits, you have two options. You can choose to keep the same video title and delete your original video, or you can create a new title and keep the original video.  Then, click ”Save.” You're all set!  

Your new video will now show up in your video library to share as needed.

Stitching Videos

Step 1: From your Dashboard, click the “Videos” tab at the top of your screen. 

Step 2: From your videos tab, click the “Edit/pencil icon” next to the video you want to trim. 

Step 3: From the edit video menu, select "trim and stitch videos" and click the blue ”Trim video” button. 

Step 4: From the pop up window, select the videos that you want to stitch together and click "Next."

Step 5: Select the order which you want the videos to appear.  If you want to move a clip, then select the "three lines" on the left of your clip and drag it into the correct order.  Once the order looks good, click "Next."

* You can also delete a video by clicking the "trash can" image next to the clip desired. 

Step 6: Choose a name for your new video and click "Stitch Video."

Step 7: Congratulations, you just stitched multiple videos into one!  Once completed you'll be taken to the video edit page for your new video where you can preview, edit, or send as needed.
