Add TAG to Contact Records to help sorting through contacts

Currently, the only segmentation of contacts is through LISTS.  However, if BombBomb were to add a contact field TAG then one could sort contacts and easily change the contact from one list to another.  While I have created a custom field for Tags which helps me personally, because there is no standard BombBomb field for Tags, I cannot manage a master list of tags.

Most CRMs use tags for segmentation. It will help us greatly when syncing to other systems and creating auto-rules if we were able to use the type of organization that other systems use - ie, tags.

Currently, one has to recognize the contact by name to know if one wants to change their list segment.  While it is possible to select multiple contacts to change their segment list, without the ability to sort by a tag, how do you determine which contacts to select?  Do you change an entire segmented list when you only want to select a subgroup?  It is cumbersome to go into contact records individually.
