Custom recording area for screen recorder

Please allow us to customize the recording area (or select one window) before beginning recording?

I use an ultrawide monitor, so a full-screen record can be a bit obnoxious for the viewer. 

For an example of how this is done, see Snagit. It allows you to drag and click to select the recording are before beginning recording. 

WOuld love to see this integrated with the fantastic bombbomb app!

  I third that. A real problem when using a wide screen monitor. Thinking of switching to Vidyard which allows tab recording.

  Please fix this and allow window selection (like Zoom) or recording area selection (like Snagit)... I literally cannot use the screen recorder on my work machine as it records an absurd 32:9 video. This is an easy fix and ultrawides are growing more prevalent...

  Would love to see this be implemented.  Loom does this well in recording just the Tab as well as Zoom for sharing either an application or an area of your screen.
