BombBomb Engage lets you control who can view your videos using Video Privacy Settings. Whether you're sharing personal outreach or sensitive business content, privacy settings help ensure the right people have access—and only them. You can set visibility at the video level to manage how and when each video is shared.

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Open your Workspace
From the left-hand navigation, click Workspace to access your full video library.
2. Locate the video you want to edit
Scroll or search for the video you’d like to update privacy settings for.
3. Click the thumbnail of your video
Hover over the video and click the three dots in the top-right corner of the video thumbnail and select Edit Video or click the thumbnail of your video.
4. Select Privacy
On the right side of the page click the pencil icon next to Privacy to edit privacy options.
5. Choose a Privacy Option
Select from the available visibility options:
Anyone with the link can view this video
Only the video creator can view this video
Only those with the password can view this video
Expiration Date
🗣️ Note: If your video is used in a campaign or workflow, make sure the privacy setting still allows access for recipients.
6. Save Your Settings
Click Save to apply the updated privacy setting to your video.
🗣️ Tip: You can return and change privacy settings anytime.
FAQs / Common Issues
Q: What happens if I send a Private video?
A: Only you (or approved workspace members) can view it. Recipients will see an error message if not permitted.
Q: Can I make a video public after sending it as private?
A: Yes. Changing the privacy setting retroactively will update access for anyone with the link.
Q: Do workflows or campaigns override privacy settings?
A: No. Make sure your video's privacy allows external viewing if used in automations.
