This article shows you how to locate and copy your BombBomb API key so you can integrate BombBomb with third-party platforms or develop custom solutions using our API.

Instructions

Step 1: Log into your BombBomb account

Go to bombbomb.com and log in with your credentials.

Step 2: Access your Account tab

In the lower-left corner of your screen, click the Account icon.

Step 3: Open your Profile settings

In the menu that appears, click Profile.

Step 4: Scroll to find your API key

Scroll down until you see the API Key section.

Click Copy API Key to copy the full key to your clipboard.

Troubleshooting

Q: Why don’t I see the API Key in my profile?
A: You must be logged into the primary BombBomb web app (not a partner integration). Try logging in directly at bombbomb.com.

Q: Is there a way to generate a new API key?
A: Yes, you can reset your API key. Note that this will invalidate the current API key making it necessary to reconnect any API connections.

Q: Can I use the same API key across multiple platforms?
A: Yes, your API key can be used across different integrations or scripts unless restricted by a specific platform. We cannot guarantee it will work on every app but you are welcome to try and reach out to support@bombbomb.com if you have any questions.
