Overview
BombBomb's email integration lets you compose and send video emails directly from BombBomb using your Outlook account — no copying and pasting links into a separate email client. Just open the composer, write your message, and send, all without leaving BombBomb.
Who this applies to: All Users (Admins must enable the integration first)
Plan requirement: Core, Core + Copilot, Enterprise
For Admins: Enable the Integration
Before users can connect their email accounts, an Admin must enable the integration at the account level.
- Go to Account Settings → Permissions.
- Under Email Integration, select Outlook.
- Once saved, all users on the account can connect their individual Outlook accounts.
Note: If Email Integration is set to None, users will not see the email composer option.
For Users: Connect Your Outlook Account
The first time you attempt to send a video email, you'll be prompted to connect your Outlook account. Follow the on-screen prompts to authorize BombBomb to send on your behalf. You only need to do this once.
How to Open the Email Composer
You can open the email composer from two places:
From the Workspace:
- Click the email icon next to any video, or
- Click the three-dot menu on a video and select Quick Send Email.
From the Edit Video page:
- Click the email icon in the top toolbar, or
- Click the Share button or three-dot menu and select the email option.
What You Can Do in the Composer
- Address your email using Outlook contact suggestions for autocomplete.
- Edit the subject line and message body.
- Format your message using BombBomb's rich text editor.
- Add additional videos to the email body.
- Send directly from your connected Outlook account without switching tabs or apps.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an Outlook account to use this feature? Yes. You must connect a valid Outlook account to use the email composer.
Can I connect more than one email account? No. Each user can connect one email account at a time.
What happens if I disconnect my Outlook account? You'll need to reconnect your account to access the email composer again. Your previously sent emails are not affected.
I don't see the email icon — what's wrong? The Email Integration may not be enabled for your account. Contact your admin to confirm it's turned on in Account Settings → Permissions.
