This article shows you how to record and send a BombBomb video directly from your Gmail inbox using the BombBomb Chrome Extension. This integration helps you connect faster with contacts by adding personal videos to your everyday email workflow—without ever leaving Gmail.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Install the BombBomb Chrome Extension
- Before you can record in Gmail, make sure the BombBomb Chrome Extension is installed. Click here to install our extension.
Open Gmail and Log In
- Go to gmail.com and log into your account.
Click “Compose” to Start a New Email
- Click the Compose button in the top-left corner of Gmail to start a new message.
Click the BombBomb Icon in the Email Toolbar
- Inside the compose window, click the BombBomb video icon to launch the video recorder.
Record Your Video
- The recorder will pop up in a new window. Click the red Record button to start recording, then click Stop when finished.
🗣️ Note: You can switch between webcam, screen, or both using the toggles before you record.
Insert the Video into Your Email
After recording, click Insert Video to place the video thumbnail and animated preview directly into your Gmail message.
Add Recipients and Send Your Message
Complete your email by adding recipients, subject line, and any message text. Then hit Send as you normally would.
