How to Send Your First Video

Overview

This article walks you through recording and sending your first video message in BombBomb Engage. Video messages help you build trust, stand out in the inbox, and create more personal connections with clients, leads, and contacts.

Plan requirement: Core, Core + Copilot, Enterprise


Step 1: Create a Video

Click the orange Create Video button in the top-left of the navigation. This opens BombBomb's recorder in your browser.

You can record in three ways:

  • Record Yourself — record using your webcam
  • Record Your Screen — capture your screen, with or without your webcam overlay
  • Upload a Video — upload an existing video file from your computer

Step 2: Record Your Video

  1. Choose Record Yourself or Record Your Screen.
  2. If prompted, click Allow to grant your browser access to your camera and microphone.
  3. Click Record to start. When you're done, click Stop.
  4. Review your recording. If you're happy with it, give it a title and click Save. If not, click Re-record and try again.

Step 3: Share Your Video

Once your video is saved, you'll be taken to the video's edit page in your Workspace. From here you have several ways to share it:

  • Email — opens a send window to email your video directly from BombBomb using your connected email account.
  • Share — opens sharing options including:
    • Copy Share Link — copy a direct link to your video's player page to paste anywhere.
    • Copy for Email — copy an animated thumbnail to paste into your own email client or CRM.
    • Quick Send Email — send directly from BombBomb via your connected Outlook or Gmail account.
  • View Video Page — preview exactly what your recipient will see when they open the link.

What Your Recipient Sees

When your recipient clicks the link or thumbnail, they land on your BombBomb video player page. They can watch your video, like it, leave a reply, and view your contact information — all without needing a BombBomb account.


Frequently Asked Questions

My video isn't loading after I save it — what should I do? Refresh the page and try again. If the issue persists, try opening BombBomb in an incognito window or contact BombBomb Support.

Can I send a video I already recorded? Yes. If you have an existing video file, click Create Video and choose Upload a Video to add it to your Workspace and share it.

Do my recipients need a BombBomb account to watch my video? No. Anyone with the link can watch your video on the player page — no account required.
