This article explains how to connect BombBomb Engage to your Outlook account using the BombBomb Outlook add-in. It also walks you through recording videos, inserting videos from your library, tracking engagement, and uninstalling the Add-in when needed. Step-by-Step Instructions

Installing the BombBomb Outlook Add-in

• Open your Outlook account (desktop or web version).

• Click the Get Add-ins button in the toolbar.

• Search for BombBomb Video Add-in.

• Click Add and authorize any permissions requested.

• After installation, locate the BombBomb icon in your email toolbar.

• Click the BombBomb icon and pin it for easy access.

• Sign in using your BombBomb Engage credentials.

• You are now ready to record, send, and track videos directly within Outlook!

Recording a Video and Adding it to an Email

1. In a new email, click Open BombBomb at the top right of your message.

   • New Outlook on Mac: Click the three horizontal dots at the top, then select BombBomb.

   • Outlook Web View: Click the three dots at the bottom of the compose window, then select BombBomb.

2. ---

   A side pane will open on the right. Choose Record Yourself or Record Your Screen.

   This will launch the BombBomb Recorder in a browser window.

   • Click the Record icon to begin.

   • Use the Gear icon to switch camera, microphone, or video size.

   • Use the Screen Recorder icon to share your screen if needed.

🗣️ Note: First-time screen sharing may require permission. Check for blocked pop-ups.

   After recording, click Stop, title your video, and save it.
   You can:

   • Add a Call-to-Action.

   • Re-record.

   • Change your thumbnail (note: changing the thumbnail removes animation).

   Click Insert Video into Outlook to return to your email with the video inserted.

   To send your message:

   • Click Send (standard Outlook send), or

   • Click Send + Track from the BombBomb pane to track engagement.

Adding a Video from Your Video Library

1. In a new email, click Open BombBomb.

2. ---

   From the Video Library tab:

   • Checkmark the video you want.

   • Click Insert to place it into your email.

   • Optionally, preview or upload a new video here too.

   Send using Send or, if you want your message tracked, Send + Track.

Tracking Your Messages

1. Click Open BombBomb inside Outlook.
2. Navigate to the Tracking tab to view:

   • Sends

   • Opens

   • Plays

   • Comments

   • Likes

   • Link Click

3. Customize tracking view:

   • Click Settings at the bottom right.

   • Toggle to see tracking only for selected emails.

🗣️ Note: Click View All Engagement to open detailed tracking in BombBomb.

Logging Out of the BombBomb Outlook Add-in

1. Click Settings at the bottom of the BombBomb pane.

2. Click Sign Out under your email address.

Uninstalling the BombBomb Outlook Add-in

1. Click Get Add-ins at the top right of Outlook.

2. Select My Add-ins from the left panel.

3. Find BombBomb, click the three horizontal dots, then click Remove.

A: Yes! The BombBomb Add-in supports both platforms.

A: Refresh Outlook and reinsert the video through BombBomb.
