Overview
The Outlook Email Integration lets you send video emails directly from BombBomb Engage using your Outlook account. Messages go through Outlook's mail servers — not BombBomb's — so they land in your Outlook Sent folder just like any email you send from Outlook directly.
Who this applies to: All users (Admins must enable the integration before users can connect)

Required: An Outlook account connected to BombBomb Engage
Step 1: Enable the Integration (Admins Only)
Before anyone on your team can use this feature, an Admin must turn it on at the account level.
- Go to Account Settings.
- Click Permissions.
- Scroll down to Email Integration.
- Toggle on Outlook.
Once enabled, users will see the option to connect their Outlook account when sending video emails from Engage.
Step 2: Send a Video Email from Engage
- Open your Workspace in BombBomb Engage.
- Find the video you want to send.
- Click the envelope icon, or select More Options […] → Quick Send Email.
- A side panel opens on the right. Click Connect Outlook.
- When prompted, click Accept to grant permissions between Outlook and BombBomb.
- The From field will automatically show your connected Outlook email address. This cannot be changed.
- Add your recipients — press Enter after each one.
- Update the Subject line if needed.
- Type your message in the email body. Formatting options include bold, italic, underline, bulleted and numbered lists, and indentation.
- Optionally, attach additional videos.
- Click Send Email.
Emails sent through this feature use Outlook's mail servers, not BombBomb's. They will appear in your Outlook Sent folder.
Troubleshooting: Connected to the Wrong Outlook Account
If you accidentally connected the wrong Outlook account, disconnect it and reconnect with the correct one.
- Click your name in the lower-left corner of BombBomb Engage.
- Click Profile.
- Go to the Email & Password tab.
- Under Email Integration, click Disconnect Outlook Account.
- Follow the connect steps above to reconnect with the correct account.
Using multiple Microsoft accounts? Your browser may automatically reconnect to a previously cached account. If this happens, clear your browser cookies before reconnecting to ensure you're prompted to choose the correct account.
Frequently Asked Questions
I don't see the Outlook email option — what's wrong? The integration needs to be enabled by an Admin first. Ask your Admin to go to Account Settings → Permissions → Email Integration and toggle on Outlook.
Will emails I send appear in my Outlook Sent folder? Yes. Because messages go through Outlook's mail servers, they appear in your Outlook Sent Items folder just like any email sent directly from Outlook.
Can I change the From address when sending? No. The From field is locked to your connected Outlook email address and cannot be changed.
