Overview
The left navigation is how you get around the new BombBomb. Every section — your videos, emails, contacts, workflows, and analytics — is one click away in a single flat menu, with notifications, integrations, support chat, and your account settings at the bottom.
Who this applies to: Team Members
Plan requirement: Essentials, Pro, Enterprise
Email and Contacts are included only on the Pro and Enterprise plans. They aren't part of the Essentials or Core plans.
The Left Navigation at a Glance
From top to bottom, the left navigation shows:
- BombBomb logo — click it to return to your home page, the Dashboard.
- Record Video — start a new video from anywhere in BombBomb.
- Dashboard — your home page and where you land when you sign in. It has shortcuts to record, upload, or screen-record a video, your Recent Engagement, your Last 7 Days stats, quick links to your profile and player page, and training resources.
- Library — your videos: All My Videos, Favorites, and the Shared Videos your teams share with you.
- Email — your sent emails, scheduled emails, and drafts, plus emails your teams share with you. Start a new email with Email Builder or Quick Send. Pro and Enterprise plans only.
- Contacts — your contacts, suppressed recipients, and lists. Pro and Enterprise plans only.
- Automated Workflows — campaigns and assignments. As a Team Member, you'll land on Assignments.
- Insights — analytics for your videos (My Insights) and for your company or team (Account Insights).
Below the main sections, you'll find:
- Notifications — recent engagement on your videos and emails.
- Integrations — connect BombBomb to the other tools you use.
- Chat with Us — start a chat to get help.
- Your profile picture and name — opens your account menu.
What you see depends on your role and your account's setup. If your account uses BombBomb Classic Forms, you'll also see Forms, marked Classic. Admins see an extra Admin group with links such as All Users, Teams, and Account Settings. If you're a Team Admin, you'll see Teams, which takes you to the members of the team you manage. If you're a Content Admin on a team, you'll see Teams, which opens that team's Player Page Defaults.
Collapsing and Expanding the Navigation
Want more room on screen? Collapse the navigation to a slim bar of icons.
- Click the panel icon at the top of the navigation, next to the BombBomb logo.
- Click it again to expand the navigation and show the labels.
While collapsed, each section shows as an icon, and Record Video shows as a video camera icon. The BombBomb logo only appears when the navigation is expanded. BombBomb remembers your choice the next time you visit.
Choosing a Team
There's no team selector in the left navigation. You choose a team inside the section where it matters:
- Insights — on the Account Insights tab, click the company selector in the top-right corner (it shows your company name and Entire Company), then choose a team. Select your company again to go back to the whole company.
- Automated Workflows — use the company selector (it also shows your company name and Entire Company) to switch between your company and a team.
- Library — under Shared Videos, click a team to see the videos shared with that team.
- Email — under Shared Emails, click a team to see the emails shared with that team.
Choosing a team only changes what you're viewing. It doesn't change your team membership.
Checking Your Notifications
Notifications show recent engagement on your videos and emails, such as likes, comments, video plays, and sends.
- Click Notifications in the left navigation.
- Scroll the Notifications panel to see recent activity.
From the panel, you can:
- Filter the feed to Opens, Plays, Clicks, Sends, Likes, or Comments.
- Mark all as read to clear the unread count. Your notifications stay in the list.
- Click the gear icon to open your notification settings.
Click the X to close the panel.
Using Your Account Menu
Click your profile picture and name at the bottom of the navigation to see your plan and role, along with:
- Profile — your personal information, notifications, and profile picture.
- Email & Password — view your email address and change your password.
- Player Page — customize how your video player page looks to viewers.
- Log out — sign out of BombBomb.
Switching Between the New BombBomb and Classic
If your account also has BombBomb Classic, a banner at the top of the page reads Welcome to Engage — BombBomb reimagined.
- Click Return to Classic to switch to BombBomb Classic in the same tab.
- Click Learn More to read about the new BombBomb.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where did the team selector go? It's no longer in the left navigation. To view Insights for a specific team, go to Insights → Account Insights and choose the team from the company selector in the top-right corner. Automated Workflows has the same selector.
Why does Account Insights say "Contact your Admin to enable Account Insights"? Company and team analytics haven't been turned on for your account or the selected team. Ask your admin to enable them. Your own analytics are on the My Insights tab.
How do I get back to the Dashboard? Click the BombBomb logo at the top of the navigation, or click Dashboard. If the navigation is collapsed, expand it first to see the logo.
Why don't I see Email or Contacts? Email and Contacts are included only on the Pro and Enterprise plans. They aren't part of the Essentials or Core plans.
Why do I see a Classic label next to Forms? Forms appears in the navigation only if your account uses BombBomb Classic Forms. The Classic label shows that Forms is a BombBomb Classic feature.
Where's the Classic Features menu? It's gone. To use a Classic feature, click Return to Classic in the banner at the top of the page.
How do I get help? Click Chat with Us at the bottom of the navigation to start a chat for help, or click Get Help Using BombBomb under Quick Links on your Dashboard to open the help center in a new tab.
