Overview
As an Admin, you have everything a team member has in the left navigation, plus an Admin group where you manage your company's users, teams, and account-wide settings. This article covers what each item is for and how the navigation changes by role.
Who this applies to: Admins, Content Admins, Team Admins
Plan requirement: Essentials, Pro, Enterprise
Email and Contacts aren't included on the Essentials plan.
What You See Depends on Your Role
Your role decides whether you see the Admin group and what's in it:
- Admin — All Users, Teams, and Account Settings.
- Team Admin — Teams only. It opens the team you manage.
- Content Admin — if you're a Content Admin on the account, there's no Admin group, and your navigation matches a team member's. If you're a Content Admin on a team, you'll see Teams, which opens that team's Player Page Defaults.
To check your role, click your profile picture and name at the bottom of the navigation. The menu shows your Plan and Role.
Team Admin, but your menu says Member? The account menu shows your role on the account, not on a team. If you manage a team, you'll still see Teams under Admin.
The Left Navigation at a Glance
From top to bottom, the left navigation shows:
- Record Video — start a new video from anywhere in BombBomb.
- Dashboard — your home page and where you land when you sign in.
- Library — your videos and the videos your teams share with you.
- Email — your sent, scheduled, and draft emails (Pro and Enterprise plans).
- Contacts — your contacts and lists (Pro and Enterprise plans).
- Automated Workflows — campaigns and assignments.
- Insights — analytics for your videos, your company, and your teams.
- Admin — All Users, Teams, and Account Settings (depending on your role).
- Notifications, Integrations, and Chat with Us.
- Your profile picture and name — opens your account menu.
Click the BombBomb logo to go back to your Dashboard. To get more room on screen, click the panel icon next to the logo to collapse the navigation to icons; click it again to expand it.
For a closer look at the sections everyone shares, see How to Navigate the New BombBomb as a Team Member.
Viewing Your Users
Click All Users under Admin to see everyone in your account.
At the top, you'll see your Total Active Users and Pending Invitations. Below, each user's row shows their Status, Application Admin access, Account Role, Teams (Team Role), and Player Page Brand. Use Search Users to find someone, and check Show Inactive Users to include deactivated users. Use the ⋯ menu on a user's row to Log Into User's Account.
Only Application Admins can change a user's status, account role, or Application Admin access. If you're an Admin but not an Application Admin, these controls are greyed out, and a tooltip explains why. The Add Users and Upload Users buttons also don't appear for you.
Managing Teams
How Teams works depends on whether you're an Admin or a Team Admin.
As an Admin
Click Teams under Admin to see all of your company's teams, with each team's member count, status, and created date.
From here, you can find a team with Search Teams, include deactivated teams with Show Inactive Teams, and create a team with Create Team. Click Manage on a team's row to open its Team Members page, where you add members and manage their team roles. The ⋯ menu on each row has Edit Team, Deactivate Team, and Delete Team.
Deleting a team can't be undone, so deactivate a team you might need again.
For step-by-step instructions on creating, editing, deactivating, and deleting teams, see How to Manage Teams and Permissions.
As a Team Admin
Click Teams under Admin to open your team's page. You won't see a list of all of your company's teams. The page shows the team's name at the top and three tabs:
- Team Members — the people on your team, with each member's Status, Team Role, and Player Page Brand. Use Search Members to find someone or Add Members to add people.
- Player Page Defaults — your team's player page branding.
- Permissions — your team's permission settings.
If you manage more than one team, click the team selector in the top-right corner (it shows the team's name and member count) and choose another team.
Changing Account-Wide Settings
Click Account Settings under Admin to manage settings that apply to your whole account. It opens on Player Page Defaults, with three more tabs:
- Player Page Defaults — the branding on your company's video player pages, and which fields your users can change. See How to Customize Account Player Page Settings.
- Permissions — account-wide permission settings.
- AI Content Library — the documents in your account's AI content library.
- Plan & Billing — your account's plan and billing details.
Only Admins see Account Settings. Users and teams aren't tabs here — they have their own All Users and Teams links in the Admin group.
Notifications, Integrations, and Your Account Menu
Below the Admin group, you'll find:
- Notifications — recent engagement on your videos and emails, such as likes, comments, plays, and sends. Use Filter to narrow the feed, or click the gear icon for your notification settings.
- Integrations — connect BombBomb to the other tools you use.
- Chat with Us — get help from BombBomb's AI assistant.
- Your profile picture and name — opens your account menu with Profile, Email & Password, Player Page, and Log out.
If your account also has BombBomb Classic, a banner at the top of the page offers Return to Classic to switch to Classic in the same tab, and Learn More to read about the new BombBomb.
