Overview
When you open a BombBomb video, you have several controls to customize your viewing experience — including playback speed, captions, fullscreen, and more.
Who this applies to: All users (senders and viewers)
Plan requirement: Core, Core + Copilot, Enterprise
Player Controls
Play / Pause Click the play button or click anywhere on the video to play or pause.
Volume Click the volume icon in the bottom-left of the player to mute or unmute.
Fullscreen Click the fullscreen icon in the bottom-right of the player to expand to full screen. Press Esc to exit.
Three-dot menu (⋮) Click the three-dot menu in the bottom-right corner to access additional options:
- Captions — toggle auto-generated closed captions on or off. Captions are generated in the language of the speaker.
- Playback speed — choose from 0.5x, 1x, 1.25x, 1.5x, or 2x. The default is 1x (normal speed).
- Picture in Picture — pop the video out into a floating window so you can watch while doing other things. Availability depends on your browser.
Frequently Asked Questions
The video is loading slowly — what can I do? Try refreshing the page or moving to a stronger Wi-Fi connection.
Why don't I see a Captions option in the menu? Captions only appear for videos that are at least 20 seconds long and when the sender's account has captions enabled.
