Overview
When someone sends you a BombBomb video, you can send them a text reply directly from the player page — no BombBomb account needed. Your reply goes straight to the sender and they'll be notified when it arrives.
Who this applies to: Anyone who receives a BombBomb video (senders and viewers)
Plan requirement: Core, Core + Copilot, Enterprise
How to Send a Text Reply
1. Open the Video Message
Click the video thumbnail or link from the email or message you received. The video will open in the BombBomb player page in your browser.
2. Click "Reply"
To the right of the video, click the Reply button. A modal will appear titled "Reply to [sender's name]."
3. Type Your Message
In the Message field, type your reply.
4. Enter Your Name or Email
In the Your name or email field, enter your name or email address so the sender knows who the reply is from.
5. Click "Send Reply"
Click Send Reply to deliver your message. The sender will be notified based on their notification settings.
Other Ways to Engage with a Video
From the player page, you can also click Like to send the sender a like — no message required.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a BombBomb account to reply? No. Anyone can send a text reply from the player page. Just enter your name or email in the reply modal so the sender knows who it's from.
Can I reply with a video? Not in BombBomb Engage. Replies are text-only from the player page.
Where does my reply go? Your reply is delivered directly to the sender. They'll be notified based on their notification settings.
What if I don't see the "Reply" button? The sender may have disabled replies on their account. If you need to respond, reach out to them directly.
