As the sender, you'll be notified by email when any of this happens, and you can see all engagement activity for any video in your Workspace.

Getting Notified
When someone likes or replies to your video, BombBomb sends you an email notification. The email shows:
- Who engaged and which video they engaged with
- The text of their reply (if they left one)
- Two action buttons: Send a Video and View Activity
To make sure you receive these notifications, go to Settings → Profile and scroll to the Notifications section. Check the boxes for whichever of these you want to be notified about:
- Is Watched — someone played your video
- Is Liked — someone clicked Like on your player page
- Receives a Comment — someone left a comment on your video
- Receives a Reply — someone sent a text reply from your player page
Click Save Changes after updating your preferences.
Viewing Engagement in Workspace
To see all engagement for a specific video:
- Click View Activity in the notification email — this takes you directly to the video in Workspace. Or, navigate to Workspace manually and click the video you want to review.
- On the video's edit page, scroll down to the Engagement section. You'll see a summary of:
- Plays
- % Watched
- Likes
- Comments
- Replies
- CTA Clicks
- Continue scrolling to the Activity table. This shows a row for each viewer with their name (or "Someone" if unidentified), the date and time they watched, how much of the video they watched, and any reactions they left (likes, comments, replies).

As an Application Admin or Account Admin, you can control whether the Like button appears on your team's player pages.

- Click the Player Page Defaults tab.
- Click Theme, Video Reactions, and Brand Elements.
- Find the Video Reactions setting. You can set it to show by default, and choose whether to lock or unlock the setting for individual users.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can viewers reply with a video? No. Replies from the player page are text-only. If you want to continue the conversation with video, use the Send a Video button in your notification email to send them a new video message.
Do viewers need a BombBomb account to like or reply? No. Anyone can like or reply to a video from the player page without a BombBomb account. They just need to enter their name or email in the reply modal so you know who it's from.
Why does the Activity table show "Someone" instead of a name? When a viewer opens a video without identifying themselves — for example, by clicking a link without being a known contact — BombBomb can't identify who they are and displays them as "Someone."
How do I turn on notifications for likes and replies? Go to Settings → Profile and scroll to the Notifications section. Check Is Liked, Receives a Comment, and Receives a Reply — then click Save Changes.
Can I disable the Reply button on my videos? The Reply option may be controllable at the account level. Check with your Admin, or review your Player Page Defaults settings.
