Overview
Your BombBomb player page is the landing page your recipients see when they watch your video. Customizing it helps reinforce your personal brand and deliver a more polished viewing experience. Settings you configure here apply to all of your videos by default — including previously sent videos that use the default player page.
Who this applies to: All Users (Account Admin, Account Content Admin, Team Admin, Team Content Admin, Member)
Plan requirement: Core, Core + Copilot, Enterprise
Note: These settings only affect your own player page. Team admins and account admins control higher-level defaults that may apply to your account. Some fields at the user level can override those defaults — see What You Can Customize below for details.
How to Access Your Player Page Settings
- Click your name or profile icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
- Select Player Page from the dropdown menu.
What You Can Customize
Theme Choose between Light Theme or Dark Theme for your player page layout.
Background Color/Image Personalize the background your viewers see behind your video.
Header Button Add a clickable call-to-action button with your own text and link. Supported link types: website URLs, mailto:email addresses, and tel:phonenumber links. You can override the Header Button Text and Header Button Link set by your team or account admin with your own values here.
Social Links Show or hide your connected social accounts on your player page. You can override the LinkedIn URL set at the account level with your own. Facebook, X (Twitter), and YouTube social links cannot be overridden at the user level — those are controlled by your admin.
Contact Information Display your personal info, phone number, and other contact details.
Note: You cannot upload a logo or profile photo at this level. Logo display is controlled by your team or account admin settings.
Saving Your Changes
Click Save to apply your updates. Changes apply to future video sends as well as any previously sent videos that use the default player page.
To preview your page before saving, click the Preview Page link.
Best Practices
- Keep your Header Button text short and action-oriented (e.g., "Book a Meeting" or "Visit My Site").
- Use a background color or image that complements your brand without distracting from the video.
- Always preview your player page after saving to confirm everything displays as intended.
- If you're on a team, check with your admin to ensure your personal settings align with team branding guidelines.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I upload my own logo here? No. Logo display at the user level is a toggle only — you can show or hide a logo, but you cannot upload one. Logo uploads are managed at the account or team level by your admin.
What link types does the Header Button support? The Header Button supports website URLs, mailto:email addresses, and tel:phonenumber links only.
Will my changes affect videos I've already sent? Yes. Your player page settings apply to all videos using your default player page, including previously sent ones.
Can I create different player pages for different videos? Not at this time. Each user has one player page template that applies across all video messages.
Which social links can I override as a user? You can override the LinkedIn URL set at the account level with your own. Facebook, X (Twitter), and YouTube social links are controlled by your admin and cannot be changed at the user level.
My team has branding defaults set by an admin — can I override them? Yes, for some fields. You can override Header Button Text, Header Button Link, and LinkedIn URL with your own values. Other fields like Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube, and logo uploads are controlled by your admin.
