Why You See “Someone” Instead of a Name
Someone" simply means that the video was sent through a different email provider than BombBomb, such as Outlook or one of your CRMs. Or it might have been watched outside of an email where we can't determine the viewer, such as text messaging, Slack, Facebook, or other social media sites.
Common Scenarios That Trigger “Someone” Tracking
The video was forwarded to others.
The link was shared in a group or on social media.
The viewer didn’t click from a tracked email sent via BombBomb.
The viewer’s browser or email client blocked tracking info.
What Counts as a “Like” or “Comment” from “Someone”?
Anyone can click the like or comment button on a BombBomb video landing page—even if we don’t know who they are.
These interactions still appear in your tracking but won’t include identifying details.
