Shape Software Integration

Overview

The Shape and BombBomb integration allows you to seamlessly combine Shape’s CRM and marketing automation features with BombBomb’s video messaging capabilities. By connecting the two platforms, users can send personalized video emails and track engagement directly from their Shape CRM environment. This helps improve communication, nurture leads, and close deals faster.

Who This Applies To

Before enabling the integration, ensure the following:

✅ Audience Type: Application Admin

✅ Plan Type: Core + Copilot, Enterprise

✅ You must have active accounts with both Shape Software and BombBomb

✅ Your user role in Shape must have the necessary permissions to manage integrations

✅ BombBomb video emails will be sent from your BombBomb account and subject to your account’s limitations

Known Limitations

This integration is initiated from Shape’s Integrations menu and does not support all BombBomb features.
Only video email sending and tracking are supported; some advanced BombBomb tools may not appear in Shape.
Reporting may differ slightly between Shape and BombBomb dashboards.
User-level permissions in Shape may restrict functionality.

How to Set Up the Integration

Log into Shape Software.
- Navigate to your account’s Admin Settings.
Locate the BombBomb Integration Section.
- Under the Integrations menu, select BombBomb Integration.
Connect Your BombBomb Account.
- Click Connect.
- Sign in with your BombBomb credentials when prompted.
Confirm Connection.
- Once connected, you will see BombBomb listed as “Active” in your Shape integrations.

Using the Integration

After connecting your accounts, BombBomb videos can be embedded into multiple areas of Shape, including:

Direct Emails – Send video messages one-to-one from within Shape.
Email Templates – Insert reusable BombBomb videos into standard templates.
Advanced Email Templates – Personalize campaigns with BombBomb video embeds in advanced templates.
Direct SMS Messages – Share BombBomb videos via text message to contacts.
SMS Templates – Add BombBomb videos into saved SMS templates for quick use.

How Do I Embed BombBomb Videos?

Direct Emails

Click on the Email icon in the list view, or on an email address in the customer profile page to bring up the email popup.
Click the Insert image icon in the editor toolbar at the top of your email template. A drop-down menu will appear with three icons — click the last icon.
In the popup, click the "+" and choose the video or image you'd like to embed. Your videos will display as an animated GIF in your message. (If the image doesn't move, it’s a still image rather than a GIF.)

Email Templates

Navigate to the Email Templates page under the Templates section.
Click the Insert image icon in the editor toolbar. From the drop-down menu, click the last icon.
Select the video you’d like to embed by clicking on the “+”.

Advanced Email Templates

Navigate to the Advanced Email Builder in the Settings section.
Drag the Link Block icon from the right-hand toolbar into your template.
Drag the Image icon into the Link Block. Select the image/video you’d like to insert.
Click the Video icon in the top toolbar to find your BombBomb videos. Click Copy URL on the video you want to embed.
Click on the Link Block, open the Settings icon, and paste the video URL into the Href field.
