Overview
Team-level Player Page Defaults let you create a consistent player page experience for members of a specific team. You can customize company branding, contact details, social links, and calls to action without changing the account-level defaults used by other teams.
An admin must assign the team’s branding to each user who should receive it. If a user belongs to multiple teams, Engage does not automatically select a primary team.
Who this applies to: Admins, Application Admins, and Team Admins
Plan requirement: Core, Core + Copilot, and Enterprise

Lock Team-Level Branding Fields
Locking a field at the team level prevents individual users assigned to that team’s branding from changing the field themselves.
An unlocked field may be customized by a user when user-level editing is available for that setting. A locked field uses the value configured in the team’s Player Page Defaults.
Some related settings are managed as a group. Locking one field within a group, such as the social media links, locks the entire group. You can still hide an individual item within a locked group without unlocking the group.
Team-level locks only affect users assigned to that team’s branding. They do not change the account-level defaults or another team’s settings.
Assign Team Branding to Users
Creating Team-Level Player Page Defaults does not automatically apply them to every person listed as a member of the team. An admin must select which branding applies to each user.
If a user belongs to more than one team, the admin must explicitly choose the team whose branding the user should receive. Engage does not automatically choose a primary team or prioritize one team over another.
Users who are not assigned to a team’s branding receive the account-level Player Page Defaults.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who can edit Team-Level Player Page Defaults?
Admins, Application Admins, and Team Admins can manage these settings. Team Content Admins, Content Admins, and Members do not have access to the Player Page Defaults tab.
What is the difference between account-level and team-level Player Page Defaults?
Account-level defaults provide the standard branding for the account. Team-level defaults provide a separate set of branding values that an admin can assign to users on a particular team.
Which branding applies if a user belongs to multiple teams?
The branding selected by an admin applies. Engage does not automatically choose a primary team.
What happens if team branding is not assigned to a user?
The user receives the account-level Player Page Defaults.
Do Team-Level Player Page Defaults save automatically?
Yes. Changes are saved automatically as you update the settings.
Can an individual user override the team’s settings?
Users can edit their own profile information, including their profile picture, name, phone number, email address, and personal LinkedIn profile link. Other branding fields are determined by the account or team branding assigned to the user.
A user cannot change a team-level field when that field is locked.
What does locking a field at the team level do?
It prevents users assigned to the team’s branding from changing that field themselves. The value configured in the team’s Player Page Defaults will apply instead.
Do I need to configure Player Page Defaults for every team?
No. Users who are not assigned to a team’s branding continue to receive the account-level defaults.
