Overview
AI Video Labels automatically analyze the spoken content of your videos and suggest relevant keywords. You can use these labels to search and organize your Workspace more efficiently — especially as your video library grows. Labels are generated using speech recognition and appear shortly after a video is recorded or uploaded.

Known Limitations
- AI Labels are suggested automatically and cannot be manually created or edited.
- Labels depend on audio quality. Videos with poor audio or minimal speech may generate few or no labels.
- AI Labels are only visible to you inside your BombBomb account. Recipients do not see them.
Enabling AI Video Labels
AI Video Labels must be enabled by an admin before they appear for users.
- Go to Account Settings in the left navigation.
- Click Permissions.
- Enable Generate Video Labels.
Once enabled, labels will begin generating for newly recorded and uploaded videos across the account.
Viewing Labels on a Video
- Click Workspace in the left navigation.
- Click the title of any video to open its detail view.
- If labels have been generated, they appear beneath the video title as suggested keyword tags.
- Click the + next to a label to apply it to the video.
- If a suggested label isn't relevant, click the X to the right of it to dismiss it.
If no labels appear yet, the video may still be processing. Labels typically appear within a few minutes of a video finishing upload.
Searching by AI Video Labels
- In Workspace, click the search bar at the top.
- Type any keyword that matches a label you've applied.
- BombBomb will return all videos where that keyword appears in either the video title or its AI-generated labels.
Organizing Your Workspace with AI Labels
When you apply a label to a video, it appears as a named group under My Labels in the left panel of your Workspace. Clicking a label filters your Workspace to show only videos tagged with that label — giving you instant, organized access to videos by topic without manual folders or renaming.
For example, if you apply a "Video Marketing" label to a set of videos, "Video Marketing" appears in your My Labels list. Click it anytime to pull up exactly those videos.
The more consistently you apply labels, the more useful your Workspace navigation becomes. Use the AI suggestions as a starting point, dismiss anything irrelevant with the X, and apply the labels that reflect how you actually think about your content.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I edit AI Video Labels? You cannot edit or create labels manually — they are generated automatically from your video's audio. However, you can dismiss any suggested label by clicking the X to its right, and you can choose which suggestions to apply by clicking the +.
Why does one of my videos have no labels? The video may still be processing — check back in a few minutes. If it has finished processing and labels still haven't appeared, the audio quality may not have been sufficient for accurate transcription.
Do recipients see AI Labels when they watch my video? No. AI Labels are only visible to you inside your BombBomb account and have no effect on the viewer experience.
Do AI Labels apply retroactively to older videos? Labels generate for videos recorded or uploaded after the feature is enabled. If you need labels on older videos, re-uploading them will trigger label generation.
